  • A three-floor addition to Nash General Hospital to serve as a new Emergency Care Center and Heart Center.  The Emergency Care Center included a “Fast Track” capability to improve patient care and to reduce patient wait times.  The addition includes a 15,000 square foot penthouse and a 4,000 square foot generator building.

 

  • Central Energy Plant upgrades to support this addition included:

1 FIRE TUBE BOILER (500 BHP) AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT

1 CENTRIFUGAL CHILLER (1,000 TON) VARIABLE SPEED, INTERLOCKED IN PARALLEL WITH 4 EXISTING 1,000 TON CHILLERS

1 COOLING TOWER CELL (1,000 TON) 2 1.75 KW GENERATORS AND ASSOCIATED PARALLELING AND SWITCH GEAR

1 20,000 GALLON UNDERGROUND FUEL STORAGE TANK
