Charlotte Engineers performed commissioning services for the new HVI building to ensure high quality installation and operation of the systems installed in the building, and to ensure that they were installed as intended by the system designers. Energy efficiency, stringent indoor air quality and comfort, and maintainability were also essential for this project – all of which are typically improved when a building is properly commissioned.
We led the execution of a commissioning process that methodically verified the installation of commissioned equipment and the operation of commissioned systems. The commissioning process was documented thoroughly and transparently, and is repeatable by staff in the future as needed. We also ensured that the Owner was provided with the appropriate documentation, training, and instruction to operate the systems efficiently and effectively throughout the life of the building.
Commissioned systems include: mechanical/HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection/detection.
